It seems I havn't posted this image yet. It is from the same area as the rock and concrete images. I had thought that I had run out of the images that I had taken in this area, it seems there is this last one left.
I have been making quite a few more colour images than black and white images over the recent months. However you can't tell by looking at this blog can you!? I will have to get around to posting them too, however in my defence we are in the process of moving, very shortly this computer will have to get packed away, and for a few weeks we will be on dial up interent. Shock horror! So I will have to see how posting from that will work! So posting will possibly be a tad slower than usual, or maybe it won't be... we will just have to see.

i've been hesitant to comment of late cos i know you're going to hate me but ...
i don't care what you say, your work reminds me a lot of peter peryer.
okay in the past i said it to annoy you because you photographed a subject which he also photographed.
but these latest b&w's have a peryerness about them. it has to do with what you point the camera at and how you frame the image. there's definitely the anthropomorphic coming through in some - a thing peter has done to death, and continues to do cos it's now his style.
but some of the others also have a peryerness. this is not a criticism. in fact i think it's something you could capitalise on. but it's interesting.
to me anyways.
Well you know I hate you regardless, but this just adds another reason to do what I already do.
That is fair enough, that you see Peryer in the work, I can see why. I did (sometimes still do) like his old style of work, and that obviously comes through in some of my work, especially my black and white work.
I think it is a lot to do with the composition as you say, as far as what I point the camera at, well Peryer has photographed almost everything, so I can't help that what I point my camera at is similar to what he has.
I quite enjoy playing off his work, there is something about that that I enjoy.
